Track star to make a run at state title

A: My grandmother because she is always there for me. She helps me accomplish goals that I can’t reach.

Q: What are you likely to be doing when you’re not running?
A: I like to play basketball with my friends. I’m good at passing the ball.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: I want to run hard, try to go to state and try to get first.
Q: How have your coaches made you a better runner?
A: By being a family, being there for each other at our track meets. We keep our heads up.
Q: Do you plan on running in college?
A: Yes, but I don’t know where yet.
