Kingwood grad Svihovec contributes to Northern Colorado victory
Kingwood High School graduate Tevin Svihovec scored three points in Northern Colorado's 67-50 win at home over conference rival Portland State Thursday, Jan. 17 at Butler-Hancock in Greeley, the Northern Colorado website reported.
Svihovec also recorded three rebounds, five assists and two steals for the Bears, who improved to 4-11 on the season and 2-5 in the Big Sky Conference.
Northern Colorado's next game is 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at home against Eastern Washington.
Svihovec is a redshirt sophomore guard for the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley.He is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School, where he averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game. The sport and exercise science major is from Kingwood.
