Kingwood grad Holderread plays in Lutheran loss
Kingwood High School graduate Brendan Holderread scored three points in Texas Lutheran's 74-56 home loss to conference rival Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday, Jan. 17, at Memorial Gymnasium in Seguin, the Texas Lutheran website reported.
Holderread also recorded two rebounds, six assists and three steals for the Bulldogs, who are 5-12 on the season and 3-8 in the American Southwest Conference.
Texas Lutheran's next game is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at home against Concordia Texas.
Holderread is a freshman guard for Texas Lutheran University. He is a 2012 graduate of Kingwood High School. Holderread is from Kingwood.
