Kingwood grad Svihovec scores 8 points in Northern Colorado victory
Kingwood High School graduate Tevin Svihovec scored eight points in the University of Northern Colorado's 72-56 home win over conference rival Eastern Washington University on Jan. 19, according to Northern Colorado's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded four rebounds, six assists and one steal for the Bears, who improved to 5-11 on the season and 3-5 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Northern Colorado's next game is 6:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 on the road against Northern Arizona University.
Svihovec is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School, where he averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game. The sport and exercise science major is from Kingwood.
