Kingwood grad Holderread plays in Texas Lutheran loss
Kingwood High School graduate Brendan Holderread scored two points for Texas Lutheran University in its 65-54 loss to conference rival Schreiner Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Edington Gymnasium in Kerrville, the Lutheran website reported.
Holderread also recorded three rebounds, two assists and three steals for the Bulldogs, who are 5-14 on the season and 3-10 in the American Southwest Conference.
Texas Lutheran's next game is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Hardin-Simmons University.
Holderread is a freshman guard for Texas Lutheran University. He is a 2012 graduate of Kingwood High School. Holderread is from Kingwood.
