29 Kingwood runners complete Rhythm and Blues Half Marathon
A total of 29 Kingwood athletes completed the Rhythm and Blues Half Marathon on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Houston.
The runners from Kingwood and their finishing times were Tim Heitzwebel, 55, 1:38:07; Jeff Brown, 48, 1:41:54; Allison Miller, 31, 1:53:16; Shane Heginbotham, 35, 1:57:24; Lisa Kauderer, 43, 1:57:55; Todd Wyborney, 54, 2:01:42; Carolyn Wyborney, 49, 2:02:50; Caroline Chamness, 48, 2:10:17; Elizabeth Hayward, 45, 2:10:18; Robin Szabo, 39, 2:11:50; Victoria Simko, 40, 2:12:14; Wendy Anaya, 42, 2:13:11; Genell Pippett, 30, 2:14:30; Erin Lehnert, 37, 2:14:37; Stephanie Logan, 36, 2:17:26; Michelle Carlson, 25, 2:19:37; Kathy Kelly, 52, 2:22:42; Cathryn Bennett, 33, 2:27:36; Christopher Daubert, 53, 2:29:16; Christina Woodworth, 31, 2:33:26; Lindsay Medina, 33, 2:33:51; Hannah Khalil, 23, 2:34:36; Emily Collier, 32, 2:35:38; Melissa McElroy, 29, 2:35:38; Betesu Williams, 59, 2:45:29; Sandy West-Graham, 47, 2:45:46; Teresa Roseland, 52, 2:46:25; Mark Roseland, 56, 2:46:25; and Autrey Terry, 43, 2:54:40.
Race organizers said 1,066 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended at Sam Houston Park.
Benjamin Zywicki, of The Woodlands, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:11:54, while Catherine Kruppa, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:32:19.
