Valerie Logan, Southwestern University
Position: Guard
High school: Kingwood High School
This week: Sunday, Feb. 17, versus Colorado College
About Logan: Logan is a sophomore guard for Southwestern University. She is a 2011 graduate of Kingwood High School, where she was three-time Academic All-District selection. The kinesiology major from Kingwood is the daughter of Ron and Polly Logan.

Jazmyn Johnson, University of Portland
Position: Guard
High school: Humble Kingwood Park High School
This week: Saturday, Feb. 16, versus Saint Mary's College of California
About Johnson: Johnson is a freshman guard for University of Portland. The Kingwood native is a 2012 graduate of Kingwood Park High School in Humble.

Larla Brown, U.S. Coast Guard Academy
Position: Forward
High School: Kingwood Park High School
This week: Saturday, Feb. 16, versus Worcester Polytechnic Institute
About Brown: Brown, a 5-foot-10 junior forward for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood Park High School. She is a Kingwood native.
