Where are the lowest gas prices in Kingwood?

Gas prices in and around Kingwood were higher than the average for Houston but lower than the national average last week, according to data from the price-tracking website GasBuddy.com.

Visitors to the GasBuddy.com website reported rates at 11 gas stations in and around Kingwood. As of Saturday, Feb. 16, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Kingwood was $3.52 per gallon. GasBuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.51, the state average at $3.52 and the nationwide average at $3.66.

The least expensive gas in Kingwood was reported to be $3.43 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which GasBuddy.com contributors logged at Citgo, 110 Sorters McLellan Road.

A GasBuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area was $3.55 at Exxon, 4502 Kingwood Drive; Shell, 1101 Kingwood Drive; and Shell, 3324 Northpark Drive.

Local stations included in the survey were Shell, 3324 Northpark Drive; Shell, 1101 Kingwood Drive; Exxon, 4502 Kingwood Drive; Citgo, 110 Sorters McLellan Road; Exxon, 2279 Northpark Drive; Chevron, 2302 Northpark Drive; Exxon, 201 Northpark Drive; Jack's Grocery, 1115 Hamblen Road; Texaco, 1800 Northpark Drive; and Citgo, 24551 Texas 494.

The prices, based on the cost of regular unleaded gas, are submitted by the site's contributors.
