Kingwood Park grad Brown plays in Coast Guard loss
Kingwood Park High School graduate Larla Brown scored four points in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's 44-43 loss to conference rival Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Wednesday, Feb. 20 in Worcester, Mass., the Academy's website reported.
Brown also recorded four rebounds and two blocks for the Bears, who are 10-15 on the season and 8-10 in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference.
A 5-foot-10 junior forward for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Brown is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood Park High School. She is a Kingwood native.
